WonderWorks

WonderWorks in Myrtle Beach is one of the most popular attractions along the Grand Strand. Featuring a variety of exhibits from the Bubble Lab to the Anti-Gravity Chamber, WonderWorks in Myrtle Beach is captivating and fun for all ages. Apart from its more than 100 stations of learning and fun, WonderWorks is also home to the Spacewalk Challenge Ropes Course, located on the top floor of the building, Soar + Explore, an outdoor ropes course and zipline, as well as Lazer Tag and the new XD Theater. Waccatee Zoo

Just a short drive inland from Captain’s Quarters Resort is one of the beach’s best kept secrets: Waccatee Zoo! Children and adults alike can enjoy being in the presence of and observing animals in a natural-like habitat at this local zoo. Visit with goats, feed monkeys and look out for an alligator in the pond as you enjoy a day at the zoo! This attraction is open year-round based on weather and is perfect for toddlers, children, teens and adults alike.

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is a 1.2-mile long stretch of walkways, promenades, businesses and more along the iconic shoreline of downtown Myrtle Beach. Beginning at the Second Avenue Pier on the south end and continuing up to Pier 14 on the north end, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is a must-see Myrtle Beach attraction. Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium

The Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium is located off Ocean Boulevard near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Here visitors can learn about strange and interesting people, events, places and things, from the six-legged cow to the tallest man! Great for both kids and adults, this Myrtle Beach attraction is a great place to go on a hot summer day to get out of the sun or during the cooler winter months at the beach. Pavilion Park

Visitors to Myrtle Beach can revisit the “good old days” at Pavilion Park. Myrtle Waves Water Park

Myrtle Waves Waterpark is located just a short drive from Captain’s Quarters family friendly Myrtle Beach resort near Broadway at the Beach. If you want to enjoy the water beyond Captain’s Quarters pool deck, then check out this local 20-acre water attraction. Float along their 1,200-foot lazy river or spin around in the Arooba Tooba funnel ride. No matter what type of water ride you enjoy, you are sure to find some fun in the sun at this seasonal waterpark. Beyond rides, Myrtle Waves also contains a wave pool, water play area and more.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball

Minor League Baseball team the Myrtle Beach Pelican’s play locally at the TicketReturn.com Field, right across from Broadway at the Beach. The Myrtle Beach Pelicans’ schedule runs April through early September as they take on teams such as Carolina Mudcats, Lynchburg Hillcats, Wilmington Blue Rocks and Frederick Keys. They also host a variety of promotions that make a day at the ballpark even more enjoyable during your vacation to Myrtle Beach.

Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Gardens is located just a short drive south of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. It’s beauty, art, and history provide visitors with a haven of peace and learning. SkyWheel Myrtle Beach

The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is an iconic 187-foot tall modern Ferris wheel situated on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. A recent addition to the Myrtle Beach skyline, the SkyWheel provides riders with a unique view of the Atlantic Ocean, the surrounding beaches and the city of Myrtle Beach. Each of the 42 enclosed and air-conditioned gondolas provides comfort and views like no other in Myrtle Beach. At night the SkyWheel lights up the sky with a fantastic array of colors streaming through each of its spokes as riders journey over the ocean and into the night.

Sling Shot

Those looking to be flung high in the sky will enjoy the Sling Shot Thrill Ride in Myrtle Beach, not far from the Boardwalk. Pirates Voyage

A dinner and live theater attraction, Pirate’s Voyage in Myrtle Beach is fun for all! Fitting well with the Captain’s Quarters’ pirate theme, this show is great for all ages. Legends In Concert

Legends In Concert Myrtle Beach is one of the top shows in the area featuring talented live tribute performers who dress like, look like and sing almost exactly like the real artists. House of Blues
