  • Where can I view a schedule of activities?

    You can view our Myrtle Beach resort schedule here. Please note activities are subject to change. You will receive an up-to-date schedule when you check in.

  • Do you provide towels for the pool?

    We provide quality towels at the pool. You may use one towel at a time per guest. During the summer months pool towels may be checked out from our poolside cabana. When the cabana is not open you may check out pool towels from our front desk.

  • Where can I find my photos with Salty?

  • Is there a fee for any of the children’s activities?
    Most activities are free for Captain's Quarters Resort guests except for a few that involve food or supplies such as arts and crafts. Please see the activity sheet at check-in to see which activities have fees.
  • What ages can participate?

    Children ages 5 and up may participate in these daily resort activities. Children under the age of 5 may participate with the help of a parent. Other special events like the poolside dance party are for all ages.

  • When are the daily children’s activities going to be?

    The daily children’s activities at Captain's Quarters Resort in Myrtle Beach will take place during summer (check back for exact dates). Other select activities may continue into early fall, weather-permitting. Click here to view all resort events.

  • What forms of payment do you take?
    We take Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or cash at time of check in at Captain's Quarters Resort Myrtle Beach. If you arrive with a $0 balance or pay any portion of your stay in cash you will be required to pay a $100 refundable security deposit.
  • Will I have to pay a deposit?
    If you arrive with a $0 balance or pay any portion of your stay in cash you will be required to pay a $100 refundable security deposit.
  • How much do I have to pay when I book?
    The first nights room and tax as well as any additional services for the first night of your stay will be charged to your credit card to guarantee your reservation. The remainder of your balance is due at check-in.
  • When will the rates for next year come out?

    Captain's Quarters Resort rates generally come out during the fall and winter for the following year.

  • What is the Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP) Plan?
    Add Captain's Quarters' Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP) Plan to your reservation in order to protect your vacation investment for only $29.95 plus tax. The VIP Plan can be purchased at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking, and will offer you the following great benefits to give you complete peace of mind before and during your hard earned vacation:
    • Cancel any time before 4 PM on your check in day and your deposit will be refunded in full
    • Make changes to your reservation as you need*
    • In the unfortunate event that your stay is cut short, you will receive a refund for the remaining portion of your stay*
    By declining the VIP Plan, you understand that the following will apply to your reservation:
    • The reservation deposit is non-refundable
    • Any changes made to the reservation, prior to arrival, will incur a $20 fee per change; changes include, but are not limited to date changes and room type changes*
    • No refund for early departures
    *Any changes will require your booking to be re-calculated based on the current best available rate and the new actual length of stay. Early departures require checkout by 11:00am.
  • Can I choose which floor my room will be on?

    We would be more than happy to put in a general request for a higher or lower floor when you make your reservation for your Myrtle Beach vacation. We do our best to accommodate requests, however, we cannot guarantee it. The only room types that are guaranteed to be on a certain floor are the poolside units and the Miami Suite.

  • Why are my search results showing that there are a minimum number of nights that I need to book in order to stay?

    Depending on how busy we are projected to be and when holidays and weekends fall, we sometimes have to require a minimum stay. If your travel dates are flexible, please give us a call and we will do our best to help you find dates that have a lower minimum. If your Myrtle Beach travel dates are not flexible, please visit our resort group’s website, Vacation Myrtle Beach, to find other great Myrtle Beach resorts that may be able to accommodate your travel dates.

  • What’s your cancellation policy?
    Our cancellation policy for your reservation depends on if you have purchased the VIP Plan.

  • I’ve already made my reservation. Can I add an extra night?
    Please call us and we will see if your room type is available for an additional night. If it is, we are happy to add that for you.
  • When is the best time to book?

    Generally, the sooner you book the better. Rates can go up as your Myrtle Beach stay dates approach.
