We provide quality towels at the pool. You may use one towel at a time per guest. During the summer months pool towels may be checked out from our poolside cabana. When the cabana is not open you may check out pool towels from our front desk.
We do not rent out beach chairs and umbrellas, because it is a public beach, however, the local Myrtle Beach lifeguard company rents out chairs and umbrellas for a daily fee during the late spring into early fall.
A $12 per night charge for overnight parking per vehicle will be charged at check-in. Trailer/bus parking is available for $25/parking space per night at the lot across the street.
Occupancy varies based on room type at Captain's Quarters Resort in Myrtle Beach. Please let us know how many children (ages 16 and younger), and how many adults (ages 17 and older) will be staying in your room when making your reservation so that we may provide you with the available rooms for your family.
We do group rates for groups that need 15 rooms or more. However, this does exclude summer, holidays and certain special events. Our Captain's Quarters Resort Level 6 Entertainment Center, Vista 9 and Loco Gecko Restaurant are available for rent for special occasions like birthday parties and other group events.
We do offer breakfast seasonally at an extra cost. You can get your breakfast added to your resort reservation at a discounted price if you add it prior to arrival.
The VMB Card is the Vacation Member Benefits Card, which you will get for free at check-in; this is located on the back of your room key. This card will give you discounts at a variety of Myrtle Beach restaurants, shops and attractions. Click here to view a full list of discounts.
Our indoor resort water amenities and one outdoor hot tub remain open year-round. Our outdoor water amenities at our north building are open during the summer months and sometimes into early fall as well, and the outdoor water amenities at our main building are most comfortable for guest enjoyment depending on the weather, generally from mid-March until October.
Oceanfront units offer the best view of the ocean, as they face the ocean directly. Ocean view units are located on the side of the building and only offer a view. Click here to view all Captain's Quarters Resort room types.
If you arrive before check-in time you may pre-register with us at the Captain's Quarters Resort front desk. At this time we will take down your phone number, allow you to purchase your parking pass (be sure you know what your license plate number is) and give you wristbands so you can use our amenities, including the pools, as you wait. Once your room is ready we will give you a call and get you your room keys.
We are about 1 mile south of southernmost end of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and about 1.5 miles from the central area where the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is located.

We would be more than happy to put in a general request for a higher or lower floor when you make your reservation for your Myrtle Beach vacation. We do our best to accommodate requests, however, we cannot guarantee it. The only room types that are guaranteed to be on a certain floor are the poolside units and the Miami Suite.
Depending on how busy we are projected to be and when holidays and weekends fall, we sometimes have to require a minimum stay. If your travel dates are flexible, please give us a call and we will do our best to help you find dates that have a lower minimum. If your Myrtle Beach travel dates are not flexible, please visit our resort group’s website, Vacation Myrtle Beach, to find other great Myrtle Beach resorts that may be able to accommodate your travel dates.
