What's New In Myrtle Beach 2016With each new year in Myrtle Beach comes fun new attractions, delicious new restaurants, and more reasons to visit the beach.

New Nearby Dining Options 


The Chemist


A dinner restaurant located slightly back from the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk called The Chemist – Craft Cocktails and Modern Cuisine opened this past fall at 300 9th Avenue North. They feature unique options molecular gastronomy options for food and craft cocktails complete with a unique chemistry-themed décor. Enjoy such options as Liquid Nitrogen Tune, Mango Buttermilk Panna Cotta and wash it down with a Flux Capacitator. The Chemist is a sister restaurant of the popular Art Burger Sushi Bar, also located by the Boardwalk.

Brass Tap


Opened in early 2016, the Brass Tap is one of the most popular Market Common restaurants. The perfect place for craft beer aficionados, the Brass Tap features an ever changing menu of bottle and draught beer with upwards of 200 options on any given day. The also offer delicious dining options such as Prime Rib Nachos, Mexican Chicken Flatbread, French Onion Burger, Tempura Chicken Tenders and Margherita Individual Pretzel Pizzas. Brass Tap is located at 3090 Deville Street and is open for lunch and dinner as well as late night with limited outdoor seating available.

Dave & Busters (coming soon!) 


Dave & Busters will soon be coming to Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach. With the only other location in South Carolina currently being Greenville, many are excited to see this entertainment, bar and dining establishment come to the beach. They have a variety of food options like Crispy Steak ‘N’ Cheese Tater Cakes, Tomato Feta Soup, Fire-Grilled Salmon, The Caveman Combo and The Ultimate Mac and Cheese. They also feature tons of games like Pac-Man, Skeeball and Million Dollar Midway.

American Tap House (coming soon!) 


Another new restaurant coming to Broadway at the Beach, American Tap House is an American Gastropub that will feature a variety of craft beers and unique dining options. Expected to open this spring, American Tap House is sure to be a delicious addition to the already flourishing Broadway at the Beach restaurant scene.

New Attractions 


Woman on Ropes CourseRadical Ropes 


If you haven’t visited since last summer, then you may not have seen the new Radical Ropes Adventure Park, which opened at the end of the season. Located at 301 19th South, this new seasonal attraction features 8 Extreme Ziplines, Challenge in the Trees Aerial Park, KidZips for children ages 4 to 10 and the Climbing Wall/Leap of Faith. This new attraction is sure to be a hit with families looking for some thrill during their Myrtle Beach vacation!

Go-Karts at Fun Warehouse (coming soon!) 


Coming soon to the already existing Fun Warehouse is the new indoor/outdoor go-kart track! Expected to open this spring, the multi-level track will feature fun twists, turns and speed. Fun Warehouse already features roller skating, laser tag, and arcade and more. Fun Warehouse is located at 2349 Dick Pond Road off Hwy 544.

HighFlyer (coming soon!) 


Coming soon to 568 George Bishop Parkway is the Myrtle Beach HighFlyer trampoline park. Expected to be 20,000 square feet of fun for a variety of ages it will feature a Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course, Ultimate Dodgeball, Indoor Trampolines, Dunk Hoops and more.

Rockin’ Jump (coming soon!) 


Located at 2200 North Oak Street, Rockin’ Jump is another exciting trampoline park coming to Myrtle Beach. It will feature Stunt Bag, Dodgeball, Slam Dunk as well as plenty of room to jump on trampolines and have fun.

Shipwreck Lagoon Updates 


Our very own family-friendly amenity, Shipwreck Lagoon Kids’ Waterpark, has received a fresh new look! We have replastered the pool, given the giant ship a fresh new coat of paint and made our cannon features just like new. We are excited for all of the families who vacation at our resort to see these exciting new updates!

New Allegiant Flights 


If you fly to Myrtle Beach for your vacation you may be excited to hear that one of the budget carriers that serves the Myrtle Beach International Airport –Allegiant Air—has added three new seasonal flights to their already busy lineup: Harrisburg, PA (May 19 – Sept. 18), Toledo, Ohio (June 3 – Sept. 26) and Stewart, NY (June 16 – Sept. 25).
