Rodeo Bar and Grill: Night Clubs Near Captain’s Quarters Resort
Rodeo is not your typical country bar and music spot and if you’re looking to get your yee-haw on while staying in Myrtle Beach, there’s no better place to go.
When you first enter the Rodeo Bar & Grill you’ll be amazed at its size. Occupying two stories, this 90,000 square foot restaurant doubles as a nightclub after 10 p.m. There are 3 bars with 8 bar stations, a live sound stage, state of the art lighting, sound and video, and as if to authenticate the rodeo, a mechanical bull.
The restaurant serves dinner daily from 4 p.m. onwards, and has an extensive menu that includes burgers and sandwiches, steaks, chicken dishes and barbecue dishes. Make sure to try their signature Rodeo Burger with bacon, cheese, onion rings and a tangy barbecue sauce all on top of a perfectly cooked burger. You can also match any entrée or appetizer with a signature cocktail like the Honkeytonk, made with Southern Comfort, peach schnapps, amaretto, 151, Malibu and more which is sure to get you read to ride the bull and dance all night long.
At 10 p.m. Rodeo Bar & Grill turns into a nightclub with resident DJ BZ, spinning Hip Hop, Country Music, Dance and Mainstream Radio, and on Fridays and Saturdays he is joined by live entertainment from both live touring Country artists and the resident Josh Brannon Band. The Rodeo Saloon, upstairs, is where you’ll find all the locals partying.
Entrance to the nightclub is $10 at the door. Tuesdays features a Ladies Night – entrance is free to ladies, who also get free drinks until midnight. Thursdays are devoted entirely to Country Music.
On Sundays you can enjoy a Sunday dinner from 4 p.m. followed by Line dance lessons that are absolutely free of charge. These are given by the restaurant’s own line dance instructor.
The Rodeo Bar & Grill is conveniently located on Celebrity Circle, Broadway at the Beach, a great central destination for those seeking Myrtle Beach attractions, and only a short drive from Captain’s Quarters resort.
