Saint Patrick’s Day always brings tons of families to Myrtle Beach. There are a number of great events to enjoy from North Myrtle Beach’s parade to the Market Common’s Irish Fest. But for a breakdown of some of our recommendations for Captain’s Quarters guests visit our St. Patrick’s Day at Captain’s Quarters blog.

Conway’s Equinox Art & Music Fest is a new event that area residents and visitors are sure to enjoy. The event celebrates art and culture and will be held on March 22 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Artists will present art demonstrations in mediums such as basket weaving, painting and glass blowing. There will also be tons of art on sale including paintings, jewelry, furniture, soaps, baskets, pottery, glass works and more. There will also be live music performed on the courthouse lawn. This event is a great choice for the whole family and it’s free!

The month finishes with the 9th Annual Race for the Inlet at 8 a.m. on March 29. This family-friendly event gives everyone a chance to enjoy one of the area’s most beautiful places- Murrells Inlet’s marsh front and lovely neighborhoods. There will be a 5k walk/run and an 8k walk/run all beginning at Morse Park Landing. Come out and walk or just enjoy a festive day on the marsh.
