Grocery Stores Nearby Captain’s Quarters

There is a good selection of grocery stores that are close to Captain’s Quarters and stocking up your resort room’s kitchen cabinets is a great way to keep the costs of a vacation down.

But if you’re checking in on a Saturday or Sunday you should know that larger grocery stores in the area such as Wal-Mart and Food Lion pretty regularly have very long lines at their checkouts as many visitors chose to do their grocery shopping right after check-in, in addition to the normal weekend traffic from locals.

So if at all possible you would be wise to do your grocery shopping early in the morning when there are no crowds. You’ll get it done in no time at all, and what’s more, you’ll find the shelves full rather than half empty

Many visitors to Myrtle Beach overindulge thanks to the area’s many great restaurants and seek out something a little healthier a few days after their trip. One place that is a ‘must’ is Myrtle Beach Produce. This is not a grocery store but rather like a farmer’s market collective, offering fresh produce daily from local farmers in Horry County and its adjacent counties. All of their produce including both vegetables and fruit is picked daily and comes straight from the farm to the counter. They also have a selection of homemade jams, dressings and sauces, boiled peanuts and raw heads-off shrimps on ice. Myrtle Beach Produce is located at 609 29th Ave N.

Many visitors to Myrtle Beach prefer to do their grocery shopping at Wal-Mart, on account of the huge variety of non-grocery items that can be found at the store. The closest to Captain’s Quarters of four Wal-Mart Supercenters in the region can be found at 541 Seaboard St., which is also close to the mall, as well as Costco for anyone with a membership looking to purchase bulk items for their vacation. This supercenter is open all around the clock.
