Zulu Lounge: Captain’s Quarters Partner Restaurant
If you’d like to try out something different while staying at Captain’s Quarters, you should step out to the Zulu Lounge & Bistro.
This South African themed lounge and tapas restaurant is located on the north end of Myrtle Beach, within driving distance from Captain’s Quarters resort.
Central to the restaurant as you walk in is a large glass-topped bar, lit from below. On either side around the wall are booths, couches and tables. A greater part of the menu consists of African style tapas, designed to be quite small, but great tasting and made to share.
The Zulu Lounge, considered a main Myrtle Beach area attraction, is at its best during the nighttime, when its effervescent atmosphere attracts big crowds of both tourists and locals.
The bar serves more than 60 cocktails as well as beer and wine, and there is a separate lounge where you can smoke a hookah (filled with flavored tobacco). And the bartenders can entertain you a bit while pouring your drink by eating and blowing fire. There is a dance floor with a DJ and a VIP bottle service.
