Carolina Country Music Fest | June 5 – 7, 2015
By far, the most talked about summer event in Myrtle Beach is the inaugural Carolina Country Music Fest. Taking place in a price location, oceanfront by the Boardwalk, this giant, three-day music festival will feature local, regional and national bands. Art in the Park | June 27 – 28, 2015
Looking to get out and enjoy the pristine Myrtle Beach weather? Gather your crew and head up the road to Chapin Park to take part in the 43rd annual Art in the Park event. This family friendly festival features both local and national artists that are in town to showcase their best works of art. You can expect to see everything from paintings and sculptures to jewelry and pottery – and much more! There will also be events for the kids and food vendors for when you need to refuel. This event takes place between 10 am – 4 pm on both days.
Sons of Italy FestaI taliana | June 27 – 28, 2015
Celebrate everything Italy at this colorful Market Common festival. Get your fill of classic Italian fare, just like mama used to make, like meatball sandwiches, sausage with peppers and onions, handmade ravioli, and genuine Italian style pizza – to name a few. And, of course, you can’t forget to grab a canola (or two) and a slice of homemade tiramisu. Aside from the decadent food offerings, there will be live entertainment, activities for the kids, and plenty of Italian spirits to keep you in good spirits. Entry to this fun, family-friendly event is only $1 per person. Half of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Community Kitchen of Myrtle Beach.
