This tasty event will have you saying “awww shucks” before the day is over! The annual Murrells Inlet Oyster Roast is taking place along the newly designed Jetty Walk near Hot Fish Club and King Street Grill and promises plenty of fun for the whole family! There will be live entertainment throughout the afternoon and several local vendors present offering up their finest work. And, of course, there will be plenty of fresh, local oysters! An “all you can eat” oyster pass is only $30 in advance (or $35 the day of). Other cuisine, like BBQ, burgers, and hotdogs will also be available. This event runs from 11am – 3pm and admission is free.

Dickens Christmas Festival | November 13th – 15th
The Annual Dickens Christmas Festival and Show is entering its 33rd year and remains one of the most anticipated events of the year. Guests of all ages are sure to enjoy the live entertainment, historical exhibits, and even visits with Santa. The main draw of this event, however, is the expansive 100,000 square foot Victorian market. Retailers from across the region will be present offering up their handmade arts and crafts, jewelry, decorations, gifts, specialty food items, and so much more. This event is only $9.50 for adults and $4.50 for children; multiple day passes are also available. Call (843) 448-9483 for more information.

Tree Lighting Ceremony | November 22nd
Kick off the Christmas season on a high note with the annual tree lighting ceremony held each year at Broadway at the Beach. This annual event is a favorite among visitors and locals alike and is a great way to spend time with loved ones. The event kicks off at 6pm, allowing plenty of time for a pre-festival dinner at one of the fantastic Broadway restaurants, and will include live entertainment from local music and dance groups and plenty of activities for families. The tree lighting itself will happen around 7:30 pm and conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Broadway. This event is free to attend.
