Wild Water & WheelsWhile staying at Captain’s Quarters Resort, there are plenty of on-site amenities to keep you and your family entertained. But, if you want to switch it up one day of your trip and go out to enjoy some water fun, then you may want to check out Wild Water & Wheels, located just south of Myrtle Beach in Surfside Beach.

We’ve compiled a list of the top eight things not to miss during your visit to Wild Water & Wheels!

The Dark Hole: One of two tube slides at the park, The Dark Hole is popular amongst children and adults. Designed for those who are over 42 inches, you will slide through this darkened enclosed slide on an inner tube, making each twist and turn even more surprising and exciting! This ride was called the “Best Scary Ride” by Southern Living Magazine, so don’t miss it!

Bumper Boats: You’ve probably tried Bumper Cars before but have you ever tried Bumper Boats? The Bumper Boats at this waterpark are for ages 6 and up and at least 48 inches tall. Here you can steer right into your friends and family and only feel a gentle bump as each boat is surrounded by a tube. Have fun!

Wipe Out Wave Pool: No waterpark visit is complete without a visit to a wave pool! The Wipe Out Wave Pool rushes waves throughout the pool area, with some even getting up to 4 feet tall! Here music is played and guests float on inner tubes and enjoy the safe waves of the pool for as long as they want.

Triple Dip: If you want to go fast, then you must check out the Triple Dip! One of four speed slide rides, this slide is one that you ride without a tube. It consists of three giant dips that will make you catch your breath! This ride is for those who are over 48 inches.

Mini Golf: If you plan on spending the entire day at the park then you will want to check out their Mini Golf course as well! If you upgrade your ticket when you arrive to a Full Park Pass you can get as much afternoon Mini Golf in as you want!

Wally’s Lagoon: Made for the kids to explore, the Wally’s Lagoon is fun for all! This play pool has a giant tree stump and two slides as well as a waterfall and cave and smaller kiddie slides. Made just for kids, these slides are for kids under 48 inches tall.
