Summer Events at Captains Quarters Resort
Summer is always a fun time at Captain’s Quarters Resort!
Of course, there are the fun amenities, like the Level 6 Entertainment Center with a 20-lane bowling alley and arcade, the Shipwreck Lagoon pool, lazy rivers and so much more!
Beyond our amenities, there is much even more fun to be had at our Myrtle Beach resort.
Salty, our ever-popular mascot (he even has his own Facebook page) likes to meet lots of the guests during the summer! He will even be sporting a new outfit for his appearances before the Fire and Hula show this summer.
Salty, the friendly shark, has his own photographer that walks around with him so he can get his pictures taken with the kids. Then, he uploads his photos to his photo page on our website where you can download them when you get back from your vacation!
Salty isn’t the only one you will want to get your picture taken with during your Myrtle Beach vacation. Sneaky and Tiki Bird (a pirate and his macaw) also visit Captain’s Quarters Resort during the summer. Bring your own camera to get your picture taken with this duo! Plus, we will let you in on a little secret: Tiki Bird likes to get his back rubbed! Make sure you say hello to them!
When night falls at Captain’s Quarters in Myrtle Beach, an exciting show occurs, typically twice a week. Chief Kamu’s Fire and Hula Show takes place on the back lawn following a cook-out. Chief Kamu’s show is one you don’t want to miss! Watch him do tricks with fire and learn how to do the hula dance! His show is one of the most popular in town and is fun to watch time and time again.
Captain’s Quarters Resort is also the host of many other fun activities including Greg Holt’s magic show, daily kids activities like treasure hunting, crafts and games and live music poolside throughout the summer.
