Ripley’s Aquarium is located at Broadway at the Beach and is a great choice for entertainment on days when the sun is just too hot to visit the beach.
The Aquarium has over 85,000 square feet dedicated to sea life conservation and exhibitions. Kids (and grownups) and enjoy getting a taste of the rainforest with the Rio Amazon exhibit, featuring piranhas, the Pirarucu (one of the largest freshwater fish in the world) and poison dart frogs.
Or they can enjoy the beautiful sights of the Pacific coral reef with the Rainbow Rock exhibit. Visitors can see the thousands of colorful fish as they swim around and through the reef structure, which has been hand crafted to replicate the natural reefs.
Or those who prefer a more fantastical experience can enjoy the live mermaid shows at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
