Visitors to Captain’s Quarters and other Vacation Myrtle Beach resorts will not be disappointed when they decide to give The Shack a try. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is full of fun.
Inlet Crab House was opened in 1992 and is run by Captain Jimmy Mayes and his wife Kim. Jimmy has spent 30 years operating private & charter sport fishing boats from Massachusetts to Texas and in the Caribbean from the Bahamas to Lesser Antilles, so he knows what fresh seafood is all about. The ambiance of the Shack reflects some of his experiences and the laid back attitude and colors of the Caribbean. As can be expected, the menu at the Inlet Crab House consists mainly of seafood, but there is also a good cross section of dishes to choose from if seafood does not happen to be your preference.
Make sure to try their shrimp and grits, served with smoked sausage in additiont to fresh shrimp in a black pepper cream sauce topped with fresh tomatoes, or if grits aren't your thing try the Cajun Capellini with mushrooms, onions, chicken and shrimp in Cajun spices tossed with angel hair pasta.
