Restaurants Near Captain’s Quarters: Carolina Roadhouse

Visitors to Myrtle Beach Vacation resorts are invariably on the lookout for a restaurant where they can get the best possible value for money. With more than 1500 eating places along the Grand Strand to choose from, taking a complete shot in the dark may not be a good idea, which is why we like to take the opportunity of recommending those that shine out for their food and their value.

Although many people come to Myrtle Beach to eat lots and lots of seafood, there are some outstanding eateries that fall into the Steakhouse or Barbecue category. One of these is Carolina Roadhouse.

The menu at Carolina Roadhouse is both extensive and varied, and includes starters, entrée salads, sandwiches and burgers, chicken platters , steaks and house specials. The portions served are extremely generous, in many cases a single dish being enough for two! Not many people can get through a whole roast chicken or an 18oz serving of prime rib at one sitting and those are offered on the menu for reasonable prices.

The restaurant is high ceilinged with a choice of booths and open tables. There is a large well stocked bar and the show kitchen is open for all to see.

So if it’s good food and good value you’re looking for rather than fine dining, Carolina Roadhouse is definitely a restaurant to put on your ‘to do’ list.
