New Updates Coming To Family Kingdom: Captain’s Quarters Nearby Attraction
Family Kingdom, a popular Myrtle Beach attraction, is located just about half a mile north of Captain's Quarters Resort on Ocean Boulevard. It's so close you could even walk to this attraction if you wanted to! Or, you can rent a bike from us and cruise on down there without even having to hop in your car.
They will be adding a new ride this season to their 13-acre park: Twist ‘n’ Shout Wild Mouse. This roller coaster will be in addition to their already existent Swamp Fox Roller Coast, which is made out of wood. The new coaster will be made of steel, providing a smooth riding experience for visitors to this Myrtle Beach attraction!
Other popular Family Kingdom rides include their Giant Ferris Wheel, O.D. Hopkins Log Fume and the Great Pistolero Round-Up as well as arcade games and go-karts. Most families spend the entire day enjoy all the fun and games of the amusement park.
The second change coming to Family Kingdom is their water park’s name. It will come under the name of Splashes this year. Located on two acres across the street from the main park, it sits on the ocean front and has seven water slides, providing hours of fun for people of all ages!
The water park will be opening May 25th and the Amusement Park will be opening March 23rd for the summer season.
