Fall Drinks from Loco Gecko

Loco Gecko Beach Shak is a favorite throughout the year for Myrtle Beach visitors and locals alike; however, fall offers a special kind of experience thanks to the beautiful weather and the laid-back atmosphere that Lock Gecko is known for. Loco Gecko Beach Shack

In general, the restaurant offers an unintimidating dining experience – you can come in shorts and a t-shirt or even in your swim suit – straight off the beach, making it the ideal spot to grab a casual lunch or refuel after a busy day at the beach. But, in the fall, that casual atmosphere is enhanced thanks to the smaller crowds and the even nicer weather. Fall temperatures hover in the mid-70’s throughout most of September into October and the garage door style windows make it easy to enjoy the sea breeze and the ocean views.

Open seasonally, this family friendly restaurant serves a wide array of dishes that are sure to please event the pickiest palette. Appetizer selections include favorites like the crispy fried wings, nachos and fried pickles, while the entrée selections include a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers, pizzas, and baskets.

However, if you are really looking to start off your fall vacation right, you'll also want to check out their eclectic drink menu.

You can stay in the summer spirit with a Loco Coco Nut- a blend of coconut rum and pineapple and cranberry juices. For $15 you can even keep the coconut it is served in as a souvenir.

Or, you can experience a slightly more fall-tasting beverage with the Loco Long Island Iced Tea- made from a combination of 5 liquors (Vodka, Gin, Rum Tequila and Triple Sec) as well as some sour mix and a bit of cola.

Scotch lovers will love the festive flavors of The Godfather, a simple drink that combines Amaretto, an almond flavored liqueur, with your favorite scotch. Or, you can opt for a more female friendly version, the Godmother, which uses vodka in place of the scotch.

An area favorite year-round is a Loco Twisted Lemonade which is pink lemonade with sweet tea vodka. Sweet tea in any form is always sure to be a crowd favorite.

If you happened to catch a cooler fall day, opt for an Irish coffee. This tasty treat features fresh brewed coffee, a hint of brown sugar, and Irish whiskey. This concoction is sure to warm you up!

In addition to these specialty drinks, Loco Gecko has a full bar so just think of a drink and the best bar staff in Myrtle Beach will serve something up sure to delight your taste buds! Be sure to check out Loco Gecko Beach Shak during your stay at Captain’s Quarters Resort.
