Cooler Months at Captain’s Quarters ResortAs we welcome fall and turn back our clocks, you may think that there is no reason to come to the beach. Well, it’s actually the perfect time to come to the beach!
While you probably won’t spend time just lounging in the sun or splashing in the outdoor pools, you can enjoy high air temperatures in the 60s and even 70s during the fall and you won’t have to worry about crowds at the beach, at restaurants, or anywhere else in town.
During the fall, you don’t have to worry about getting burnt to a crisp from the sun (although sunscreen on exposed skin is still important) and you can more easily relax as the beach is quiet, peaceful and calm.
If you want to spend a fall afternoon at the beach, pack your beach chair, perhaps a light jacket or blanket depending on the day and a good book or a picnic. Bring a bag along with you to collect shells and keep an eye out for dolphins frolicking in the ocean. Once the clocks are turned back the sun will set sooner and you can catch a gorgeous sunset before heading out on the town for dinner or back to your suite to cook a meal.
Fall days at Captain’s Quarters Resort are equally as wonderful. You can spend the afternoon bowling at the Level 6 Entertainment Center or head down to the indoor water features where you can float along the lazy river, play in the indoor pool or relax in one of the indoor hot tubs or the large outdoor hot tub. Then, head back to your room to watch the amazing sunset from your oceanfront balcony.
Best of all, fall rates at Captain’s Quarters Resort are low! Forget about high summer rates and consider spending a fall vacation at the beach. Whether you come for a week or just a quick weekend, you will make wonderful fall memories on your Myrtle Beach vacation.
