Many people get the chance to see a dolphin swimming in the ocean from a local pier, their hotel room or even while having breakfast with an ocean view, but not everyone is so lucky. There are a few boat services that offer cruises out to see the dolphins swimming in the Atlantic. One such service is the Dolphin Adventure Cruise through the Calabash Fishing Fleet.

Captains Quarters Resort is a place that many people come to year after year with their families. They make it a tradition and it becomes an annual vacation that the entire family looks forward to each year.
One guest in particular has made Captains Quarters Resort a tradition as an adult, because the tradition of staying here was started when she was young. Now, as an adult, she returns to the resort on a regular basis with her friends.

Members of the VacationMyrtleBeach.com resort family, Mr. and Mrs. John Wendell and Wendy Smith, recently lost their three year old daughter Jessica following a lifelong struggle with Alpers Disease, a rare degenerative mitochondrial disease. The Palace Theatre in Myrtle Beach, located at Broadway at the Beach, is home to many splendid performances from musicals to Broadway shows. One of their most spectacular and highly acclaimed events is Le Grande Cirque in Myrtle Beach, SC. This act is often compared to the famous Cirque de Soleil show. Le Grande Cirque is not quite as large as that show, but has its own attributes and highlights that create a fascinating and highly entertaining evening. Shows are daily Monday through Saturday at 8 pm. Tickets for kids 12 and under free with paid adult with the VMB Card.

A zip line is now open as part of the Soar & Explore ropes course at Broadway at the Beach. It was developed by WonderWorks. It takes participants soaring 50 feet above Lake Broadway on a course that travels 1,000 feet between towers. Featuring a constant tension system, the dual-line course ensures participants a smooth "zip" with intense fun.

Families that make an annual pilgrimage to the Grand Strand are increasingly packing golf clubs alongside their bogey boards. In an effort to grow the game, Myrtle Beach has one of golf's most aggressive family outreach programs. More than 40 area courses, including five that have been ranked among America's 100 Greatest in recent years, participate in a Kids Play Free program, allowing children 16 and under to play for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
