Accommodations Spotlight: Ocean Inn Building

The Ocean Inn Building, also known as the North Building, is the smaller motel-style building across from the main Captain’s Quarters building. 

This three-story building sits oceanfront with easy access to your room and the beach; it does not however, have an elevator. It offers a variety of units - oceanfront units with balconies and side view units that do not have balconies.

The Ocean Inn Building offers four room-types and efficiency-style units and is only open during the summer months as occupancy demands it.

This building is a popular choice for those traveling on a budget and plan to spend most of their time enjoying the beach and resort amenities. When staying in this building you have access to all the amenities at the main building including the Ship Wreck Lagoon Kids’ Waterpark, oceanfront pool and hot tub, indoor lazy river, pool and hot tubs and on-site dining!

Don’t worry, because if you would like to stick closer to your building for fun in the sun, you don’t have to go far. Ocean Inn has its own oceanfront outdoor lazy river, pool and hot tub. Plus, the recently added Loco Gecko Beach Shak is attached to the Ocean Boulevard side of the building. This lunch and dinner restaurant offers indoor and outdoor patio seating and delicious appetizers, burgers, wraps, pizza and more.
