A zip line is now open as part of the Soar & Explore ropes course at Broadway at the Beach. It was developed by WonderWorks. It takes participants soaring 50 feet above Lake Broadway on a course that travels 1,000 feet between towers. Featuring a constant tension system, the dual-line course ensures participants a smooth “zip” with intense fun.
Families that make an annual pilgrimage to the Grand Strand are increasingly packing golf clubs alongside their bogey boards. In an effort to grow the game, Myrtle Beach has one of golf’s most aggressive family outreach programs. More than 40 area courses, including five that have been ranked among America’s 100 Greatest in recent years, participate in a Kids Play Free program, allowing children 16 and under to play for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
