What You Need to Know: Getting Ready to Book a Vacation
When you are getting ready to book a vacation at Captain’s Quarters Resort, there are a few things to keep in mind and helpful hints to help you get ready so you will be better prepared for the booking process.
The booking process isn’t hard, but planning ahead can make it even easier!
Keep these tips in mind when you get ready to book your Myrtle Beach vacation with us:
Credit Card: Be sure to have your credit card ready. Whether you are booking over the phone or online, you will need this during the booking process. We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
Payment: When you book, the first night of your reservation will be charged to your card. The remainder will be due when you arrive to check in, so you don’t need to worry about having that money ready yet. This is great when planning a vacation in advance because you then have time to save up your money to pay for the majority of your stay.
Check-In Age: Knowing the check-in age when you book is important. The person checking in must be at least 21 years or older, so that person should be the one handling the reservation.
Requests: While we do not assign your exact room until your check-in day, we do guarantee your room type. If you have any requests beyond that, for example, you’d like a higher floor or you want a room close to your extended family, you can request this at time of booking. However, we cannot guarantee requests, although we do our best to honor them as we understand how important they are to your family.
Parking Passes: Keep in mind, when making your reservation, that due to limited parking we are only able to give one parking pass per unit at check-in. If you are planning on bringing more than one car you will want to make alternative plans for where that vehicle will be during your stay. Planning ahead on this can save you the stress of finding this out when you arrive.
Maximum Occupancy: Different room types have different maximum occupancies. When you book, be sure to indicate how many adults and children are in your group so we can process your reservation correctly.
Additional Services: When you book online or on the phone you may be able to add certain additional services to your reservation. This can include discounted breakfast, show tickets and more. Be sure to take advantage of these money-saving options!
Cancellation Policy: If you aren’t 100% sure you will be able to come the dates you have chosen, but still want to make your reservation now to take advantage of money-saving deals and to ensure you have a room booked, you don’t have to worry because we have an excellent cancellation policy: If you cancel your reservation at least seven days before arrival, you will get your deposit back, minus a $25 fee. That’s it! Easy as that!
