Fall in Myrtle Beach is a great time to visit. Not only do we have great resort specials and fantastic weather, Myrtle Beach is also abuzz with tons of festivals and special fall events.

24th Annual Greek Festival | September 24 – 27, 2015
If your family enjoys a fun festival paired with delicious food then you will want to make plans to attend this annual festival which takes place at the grounds of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Myrtle Beach, not far from Broadway at the Beach. With the entry fee being only $1 (children 10 and under free), this festival won’t break the bank. The weekend event includes vendors, kids’ activities, raffle, Greek music and dancers and more. The highlight of the festival is the delicious homemade food available for purchase such as gyros, moussaka, spanakopita, pastries and so much more. Be sure to come to this festival hungry!

Oktoberfest on the Boardwalk | October 10 – 11, 2015
Quickly becoming a yearly oceanfront tradition, the downtown Oktoberfest takes place between 8th Avenue North and Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach, just steps away from the Boardwalk and the beach. Running from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, this fall festival will feature live music on the large stage, a beer garden for the adults, vendors, plenty of food to choose from, car show, pony rides and more. This family-friendly event has free entry and is a must for your fall festival list.

Sons of Italy Festa Italiana | October 10 – 11, 2015
Taking place at Broadway at the Beach near Hard Rock Cafe, this annual Italian festival is a great way to enjoy fall in Myrtle Beach. The weekend event includes live music, arts and crafts vendors and of course, delicious Italian food for purchase. The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
