Tips for a Great Winter Stay in Myrtle Beach

If you prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle of summer at the beach and vacation in the off season, Myrtle Beach has plenty to offer.  We know that year round fun is easy to find on the Grand Strand and want to help you plan an exciting winter stay. So here are our top three reasons to visit the beach in the winter.

1. World Class Shopping - Spend your days browsing Broadway at the Beach, Tanger Outlets, Barefoot Landing, the Coastal Grand Mall or Market Commons. Any of which will satisfy your inner shop-a-holic or bargain hunter, plus this is the perfect place to get all of the pesky Christmas shopping done early.

2. Museums - If you're looking for some family fun visit Ripley's Aquarium. With the Dangerous Reef, Ray Bay and freshwater Rio Amazon exhibits, you get a taste of what lies beneath the Atlantic. Or try Wonderworks, an interactive science museum for all ages. With a full body bed of nails, a three story high ropes course and a 10,000 square foot laser tag maze, this place is quite the indoor adventure on the beach.

3. Shows - Visit The House of Blues for some rocking live music from some awesome local bands or head down to the Alabama Theater to see their latest show ONE The Show, featuring some of the music, dance and comedy on the Grand Strand. Or check out the Comedy Cabana, where your guaranteed to be rolling on the floor laughing the whole night long.

There is still plenty to do on a winter Myrtle Beach Vacation while avoiding the long lines and high heat of the summer.

We want to make sure you experience the best of the best while at the beach, so make sure to check out the special resort rates and deals and use your VMB card to the fullest while you’re here!
