It’s Christmas time in Myrtle Beach! Many local show attractions have switched gears and are now performing all new Christmas shows or incorporating Christmas into their current show. Here are a few must-see Myrtle Beach Christmas shows in 2012.

Legends In Concert Holiday Show: The Legends In Concert Holiday Show is going on now until Dec. 20. This Myrtle Beach Christmas show features tribute artists representing Elvis, Celine Dion, Johnny Mathis, Blues Brothers and Alan Jackson. Christmas on Ice at Palace Theater: The Palace Theater in Myrtle Beach is the host of Christmas on Ice which runs through Dec. 29. This ice skating holiday show includes dancing, singing, holiday costumes and backdrops. With your VMB Card you can get a free children’s ticket (ages 3 to 12) with the purchase of an adult ticket. You’ll have to show your card at their box office or if you are buying tickets over the phone then use the code VMB20.

The South’s Grandest Christmas Show at the Alabama Theatre: The Alabama Theatre show is considered one of the best in the area. Called “The South’s Grandest Christmas Show,” it is a show filled with music, dancing, elaborate stage decorations and effects, and both old and new Christmas songs. They’ll also have a comedian as part of the show so get ready to laugh also! This 2012 Myrtle Beach Christmas show runs through the end of December.

Carolina Improv Whose Holiday is it Anyway: If you want to laugh this Christmas check out the Carolina Improv show “Whose Holiday is it Anyway” at the Uptown Theater in the Myrtle Beach Mall. This show is centered around improve comedy that deals with the holidays. So, if you want to go to more than one show you won’t see the same thing twice. Christmas at Pirates Voyage: Christmas at Pirates Voyage incorporates the story of Captain Scrooge where toys coming alive! A nativity scene will also be there which includes real animals including camels! Show times and days vary, with multiple shows being held on Saturdays for this Myrtle Beach Christmas show.
